BTW all Basset Hounds look sad. That is their trademark and secret of success. People feel sorry for them and do all sorts of things for them that they don't do for other dogs. And the buggers take advantage of it, too. I just got a Basset Hound pup about 2 months ago and every day there's a power struggle. I have to ask myself: Is he really that dumb or just pretending? Usually the line is something like:
Yes, that dumb: +200
Just pretending: -250
