OUCH - Hilton mistake.....

Boy you hate to be a jerk but that really hurts. I play with a couple of partners and we thought we had a 4-1 week, turns out our mule put a game in wrong and we end up 3-2. First time in 10 years ever a mistake.

We'd only be 9-6 for the year but that keeps you in striking distance if you did get hot. More importantly we have a decent sized side bet (7X bigger than the Hilton) on how we end up with cross town rivals. Like missing an extra point you know it's going to come back and haunt you.

The mule said he would "vouch" for us but I know it's pointless to call either the Hilton or our buddies we bet with on the side.

Two. The first one is a regular one I have had a while. This is the first year with Shrink. And last if things keep up.

LOL Max. Actually I must admit I am the dead weight when it comes to the NFL.

We had a mix up in week two that didn't help, I thought he did the plays and he thought I did them. I am in the pool and the phone rings with the guy pissed off at me for no plays. He needs them in "20 seconds" he tells me, LOL. I give him the first 5 teams I can think of. Of course of those five only one won.

Just curious, when you say 7x bigger than the Hilton, are you talking entry fee or 1st prize? 7x the 1st prize would be a nice chunk of change (1.4 mil or so) ?

SP - I don't follow you. This is a contest, he does nothing but put our picks in for us. He may have 50 people he does it for, no advantage for him to give us anything different than what we asked. At least none I can come up with. In 10 years he has never done it before.

Bart - the entry fee, LOL. Splitting the 10k if we lose is plenty painful enough for me as it is, been weeks since I risked 10 million. LOL. Nice start on your card sir, keep it up.
