The player was Joe Washington....Does anyone remember the phenomenol game Little Joe had vs New England on Monday Night Football? He ran a kick back for a TD , he passed for a TD , he did just about everything that night, it was in a rainstorm as well....He may have ran a punt back as well , it was one of the most remarkable games one player ever had...
Wrong guy. Joe Washington played in one SB in 1983 and lost to Gregg Pruitt's Raiders 38 to 9. Both were scat back type runners from Oklahoma when they were in the Big 8. Washington palyed from 77 to 85 for San Diego, Baltimore, Washington and Atlanta. Pruitt played from 74 to 84 for Cleveland, and the Raiders.

I checked the Super Bowl Boxscores several minutes ago and that is exactly what happened. He was on the roster but didn't play. Pruitt got like 17 yards on 5 carries. So I guess in a way we are both right. That Super Bowl was hard to take because that team was better then the one that one it all the year before. Not that I am bitter. (DIE RAIDER SCUM!
