Probably has something to do with that raid of the owners safe deposit boxes.

How long before the fbis begin investigating all the radio stations taking the online gambling ads, the NYC busses (saw one today) and everyone else?

Make it legal or get out the way. Too much government for me.

Just got off the phone with my friend from Football News and he knows nothing about this. He informed me that other sportsbooks adverstise at Football News, so if this indeed happen it would appear it is an solely an investigation on Caribsports and not offshore sportsbooks as a whole. Dont know much more at this time.

assassin- this appears to be only a CARIB investigation at this time.

I had a buddy make a deposit at Carib and they wouldn't give him his bonus unless he gave them his phone number to contact him and "confirm he was the account holder".

He told them to take a hike because he's married and didn't want any potential calls from a sportsbook. He's had bad experiences in the past where the number is sold and you start getting the Vegas touts calling. The ultimate nightmare. So he justifiably told Carib to **** off. They declined his bonus so he asked to withdraw his deposit and they charged him $20 for a Neteller withdrawal, lol.

Hey Carib, question for ya... why do you need to verify his identity by calling him? How is someone else going to cash a cheque in his name?

Be careful at this book, I know they pay and we all like them but it seems the heat is on them.

I cannot play there with this stuff going on. I feel uneasy. Just the way it is. When in doubt, use another out.

Good luck though to carib. Hope none of this harms the sportsbook operating well.

This from the sports911.com web site. It looks as though it may have been a money laundering front, not just a gambling establishment.-

"Sources close to Sports911.com confirmed that the Federal Bureau of Investigations seems very uninterested in going after offshore bookmakers simply for taking bets over the Net. However, they are actively pursuing those individuals believed to be laundering money through sports betting entities."

Carib is not being used as a money laundering front. Thats absurd. Its this shitty U.S. government that uses the term "money laundering" for anybody that does report income to the IRS. If you don't declare every penny you win at gambling, then YOU are laundering money. Thats according to the laws of this shitty government we got.

Carib is still a TOP book, the best one out there imo.

Got over 20 dimes there and do not feel the slightest bit worried.
