I will share a little story about my morning dealing with thes bozos. I used the live chat this morning and asked them about the free western union payment and if they still offer it. I then say o.k i will sign up and do. I asked the schmuck on chat for the western union info and i will deposit. I get this runanround story how they have to look it up and i will be emailed it in a few minutes. I explain to him that i want to bet a 2pm game (it was 2 hours before gametime at this time) and need the info asap. He saiys he understands and i will have it shortly.30 minutes later nothing....I cant call because there are people in the house who dont need to know my business so i email them and i get some stupid email from a "supervisor" there saying they monitor all chats and it has only been 20 minutes. She never sends the name to deposit though until 2 more emails later. She sends it as a attachment that doesnt even work!!....At this point im pissed already but wait! it gets better.. I finally am sent the name 1 hour later and run to western union (down the block) and send payment and send the control # etc...1/2 hour later i get an email saying number was invalid. Now im fuming! Not so fast IT STILL GETS EVEN BETTER. I call western union and am told that the transaction was pulled and held up as the person im sending to is under watch and investigation by western union and other agencies (wtf does that mean?). I cancelled the whole thing and am going to get my money back(minus 50.00)and immediately closed my account with these morons.
I mean just the fact that their customer service it so pitiful (i got the runaround to make a deposit, imagaine trying to withdraw. The supervisor there is like tits on a bull. USELESS! and then i find out they are under "investigation" screw this..plus im out 50.00 for fees from those scumbags at western union....how was your guys mornings

Sorry to hear your story, but this sounds more like a reflection of the way WU is headed in terms of betting, than it does a problem with Panam.

I've had no problems with NETeller and Panam.

Ouch! They seem to have been having WU issues. This is not the first of these WU related bumps in the road. This is still a new shop so some things have to be taken in stride.

Now I've only sent 5000 WU's and received about 200

but I've never heard "the person im sending to is under watch and investigation by western union and other agencies"

Something tells me that's probably not good..

im going to have to use another method of depositing. They started asking me all questions. They wanted his birthdate and mine? As for panam, i wouldnt send them a nickle by western union, neteller or carrier pigeon because what i saw today shows me the guys are not even a third tier book. I mean jeez it took them 2 chat sessions and 3 emails me just to get a name on who to send it to PLUS the supervisor there (lizabeth) is a morin. They will never see a penny from me, too many headaches and all i wanted to do was deposit!

thats exactly what im thinking..Thats why i took the fifty dollar loss and just cancelled it ..fuc#$ing government! funny thing is though i was going to bet the whole thing (700) on houston..maybe it will work out good for me but whenever i have been in similar situataions and miss a game it always seems to win...strange

It's a combination of two things. One is the dopes at betpanam sending out names to send money to, how hard can that be? 20 - 30 minutes is way too long and unacceptable. Now the shit at WU you can't do anything but throw your hands in the air and scream and nothing can be done about it.

i didnt receive the western union info until 40 minutes before the game started and i asked for it almost 2 hours before(and this was before all the trouble with wu) so yes they are guilty of ineptness plus the supervisor has an attitude

Wow, bad day sir. To bad you you could not use the telephone. Might have been easier. I know the trouble that wu can present sometimes. I have had many a heart attack dealing with them over the years. One of the reasons I drink.

I have not used WU for at least 1 yr...neteller and thats it for me.

Hey Bern...Sorry to read about this, but I wouldn't worry...If the person you were sending to was "actually" under investigation, a CS rep. would not be alerted to the fact; and would definetly not be passing the info. along to you. Hope your day has gotten better...

I just got off the phone with wu (thoses c-suckers) and wait till you hear this. I called to complain about the fact that they wouldnt put the transaction thru yet they wont give me back the fees i paid.They transferred me to a supervisor and was told (this is no bullsh#t either) that the reason im not getting the fees is because it was not western unions fault as the US GOVERNMENT is investigating this guy and the people he works with. They said they will give me the fees only if i get the name of the person who told me to send and the persons sent to birthdate! This is getting really starnger and stranger.I have been posting up with western u. for 10 years and i sign up with these panam momos and the shi# hits the fan..To top it off i asked panam to have a manager contact me about this and not nearly a reply..a$$holes

Thanks for the info Ben. The more I hear about WU the worse it sounds.

Panam does have some CS work to do, but they'll get it figured out - otherwise I think they're a good shop & offer alot of value.

i need a new method to deposit as it is clear to me now that ashcroft and the rest of his henchman are into everything now..dont trust neteller either as you have to give your socail..what to do?

funny how I have transfferred to and from WU to and from Panam a total of 9 transactions and never had a problem

even if this really happened that is just a greater argument for the need of the flexcard for payments..easy as 1,2,3

One of the reasons I was going to us PanAm like I do Pinnacle not only because of the reduced juice, but that they offered the free Western Union payout per month, and thought that would be handy on larger payouts that I could receive instantlyl without having to pay a large fee. But, they have already done away with the one free WU payout per month. No reason to use them now, I'll just go back to Pinnacle or other books that offer reduced vig on certain days.
