NOW that I have hopefully "Proven" myself a bit, I'd like to reopen a wound just for one minute.
I came to this board a couple months back because I placed a wager (one of my FIRST offshore) on a trifecta. I put $40 on what I considered to be a very "easy" tri. I went straight as it was a true no-brainer to me. (this is NOT the first time I have done this and do so likely once every week.)
The bet came in and the book, after 1 hour, decided that my bet was "past post". I was labeled a "cheater" and had my account closed!
(lost out on my $2000 trifecta)

SO, when I brought it to the Rx I received the SAME treatment. At this point now I just want you all to REALIZE that my claim to have picked a trifecta and wagered $40 on it WAS NOT SO OUTLANDISH WAS IT given my horse results.??? I thought it was a very reasonable bet.

cheers

Since that fiasco, I had ANOTHER smaller incident where I wagered 7 mins before post, watched the race on my TV and won. It was also a trifecta. They told me I was past post. Seems like an "out" for some books.
Regardless, these guys at Virtual were terrible to deal with and I am still pissed at being called a crook. Not only could I pick that Tri, but I'd be willing to lay $40 down on that one again and many more like it.
On that occasion ,my father -in law was involved and I'll simply say he is my equal or better at capping horses. We BOTH capped that day.
