Internet speed at eleven places (09/14)

T1. prestige, pro5, payoffsplus, bookmaker, gameday, bodog, mill. All running at maximum speed.
T8. bhb, wsex. bhb little slow, but functional. wsex fine before kickoff, but SSSSSLLLLOOOWWWW at halftime. screen hungup on a 1 dime wager (would have won!

T10. cris, hollywood. not able to log in. This is a perennial problem with cris' web site - I wish they would fix it once and for all.

I was logging in to these places between noon and kickoff.

I tend to play by internet and really appreciate those books who invest in a robust www site.

Nice reporting. Any details on whether these books are using multiple webservers to balance the load? I've seen books that get slow, not because bandwidth runs out but because their servers bet bogged down.

volatile, news flash, cris and hollywood are under dos attachs at the moment. Of course you can't log in.

You should be giving them props instead of the books that rolled over and paid.

hollywood I understand they had dos attacks.
But cris too? I am skeptical because their www site worked EXACTLY as it has for the past 2 years - 30 minutes before kickoff it gets very slow or inaccessible

java - I don't know much about the server situation, other than cris' recommending that players try both betcris.com and crissports.com (hasn't been helpful yet this year).
