Attended the game this past Saturday in the Swamp. Very sloppy played ballgame. Not impressive on either teams part during the day and believe that both teams are better than what they showed on this afternoon. The heat was definetly a major factor....about 90 degrees with what felt like 90% humidity. Unfortunately was never able to catch up with the BetOnSports RV.....if it was even there. Did however find a nice bar with ice cold Buds and great burgers. My new Swamp hang-out. Not really much else to report......which is a good thing because that means I was able to avoid trouble.......which is a rarity.

Zook is a totally cluless coach. This recruiting season lets see how many kids he gets from S.Florida. Florida made a huge mistake in hiring him

Look for SOUTH FLORIDA to be on an even pedestal with FLORIDA very soon. Coach Zook may be the absolute worst big-time program coach in America.

Absolutely agree, Zook is way out matched at this level. Yesterday it is near the end of the 1st half. You have the ball and the lead (albeit a small one) with 30 seconds left on your own 23 yard line or so. Instead of going to the locker room with the lead he gets cute, decides on 2nd down to burn a time out? They then throw incomplete on the next down taking no time off the clock. The Vols call time out themselves on 4th down when the Gators can't get a 1st down. Suddenly there is 4 seconds left after the punt that should not be there, time for a Hail Mary before halftime. Touchdown Tennessee, game over.

I know it's easy to play Monday Morning QB but why call time out in your own end of the field with 30 seconds left and the Vols playing defense like they were? Just like the game against Miami, bad decision after bad decision. Gators are top 3 or 4 talent wise in the nation easily but won't finish that high in the SEC. Somewhere a visor is being thrown across the field.

Zook never made an attempt to loosen up the Vols defense with some long passes the ENTIRE game.......swing pass after swing pass and draw plays. No idea what this guys gameplan was. Tennessee was salivating on defense.

Zook was a bad hire, but I don't think people gave Spurrier enough credit. He was a master at creating mismatches, ie.. linebacker on WR and such. J.J. better check your records, FLa has won a lot more against Tenn over the last 20 years.

Chris,

I Hate ND but like Willingham. He has made one big mistake and that is at QB. He is running a Pro style offense with an option QB(very bad formula).

Fish, when I drink, I drink to get drunk. How do you eat a burger and enjoy a bud, unless of course you are not drinking to get drunk

As for ND, even under Willingham, there recruiting is average at best. In the past where they got good kids from California + Texas, those kids are staying home now. As for ND's recruiting in Florida, they will never get a top player from Flordia as these kids want to play for the Big 3 in state. Fla,FSU + Miami send kids too the NFL where at ND, NFL is becoming a thing of the past

In the not to distant past used to average about 100 beers a week. Now on a strict 4 beer limit per day and savor every drop. Budweiser is without question my favorite food or beverage and regularly have an ice cold Bud with my cereal in the mornings....taking note to count it as part of my 4 beer limit. Actually working on my second Bud of the day here at 10:45am to wash down my rather uncharacteristic large breakfast. Try to make a point to drink some alcohol after ingesting some cholesterol to clear the arteries. This is a proven technique that I highly recommend to all heart patients. Perhaps General you can visit me for the COLTS-BUCS Monday night affair in a couple weeks down here in Tampa. Tickets and the beers are on me!!
