September 17, 2003 (Indianapolis) — Indianapolis Colts running back Edgerrin James has lost a little weight -- he's gotten a haircut.

He calls it a business decision. James decided to get a trim after being yanked down by his dreadlocks in the season opener against Cleveland.

His hair was long enough to almost reach the name on the back of his jersey.

James is keeping his shorn locks, for now. But he jokes he's always willing to consider a good offer.

Too ****ing funny! Every time I see dreadlocks like that, I wonder why the hell they do that when they can get pulled down by their hair! Good for James for wising up

This guy won the rushing title 2 straight seasons before injury. He looks like he is back.

He'll get injured again. Some athlete's are just prone to these re-occurring/nagging problems.

General...I think your getting ahead of your self..I like the euphoria you have over the colts win but I do not think James will do this everyweek

Will edge get hurt again? Possible

Will he rush for 100 per week? Doubt it

Will he lead the league in rushing? Doubt it

Has he took his time with an injury and came back looking good? Yes

No big expectations here, just facts. I bet Tenn LOL.
