Hey Guys: Leaving for Vegas in a week. This will be my first time there. I am staying at Treasure Island. Any info on best places to gamble. Like best atmosphere and least crowded, friendly dealers for blackjack etc.

Also, bringing my sticks. What golf courses should I play or have good value. Seems like the golf is pretty pricey. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

My last time in Vegas I spent 8 hours in espn zone in one of those big leather chairs and watched the sunday games. Add a few bets and a truck load of beer and fatty food and you got a seriously entertaining day.Great atmosphere with people from all over talking shit at eachother. Try and reserve a seat in advance on a sunday.

The ESPN Zone is cool, but I thought it was pretty expensive.

I am a big fan of the Bellagio Sportsbook. I also think the service at the MGM Sportsbook is really good.

Free booze at the MIRAGE

If you get a chance, go to SUNSET STATION or GREEN VALLEY RANCH, about 5 miles off the strip.

Thanks for the input guys; Does the ESPN Zone in Vegas have a sportsbook? If not I can do that at home; What about the golf courses?

I don't know too much about the golf courses, but the Crazy Horse Too on Industrail Ave is a MUST visit. You are also coming at the nicest time weather-wise. It will be sunny and in the low 90s every day and in the 70s at night. The best sports book is either the Mirage, Bellagio or the Hilton Super Book. Green Valley Ranch (in Green Valley) is a great place that has everything (if you have a rental car). Have a good time!!!

By the way, the Crazy Horse Too is a strip joint if you hadn't figured that out

Wianese,
Good luck in Vegas buddy! treasure Island has a decent Sportsbook! If you want a better one walk down a few blocks and go to Ceasars Sportsbook! Very Large and nice! Call Treasure Island and they will hook you up at a golf course on them, possibly! Vegas is great, you'll love it! The next time I go there I stay there!

Thanks for all the responses guys. I'm really looking forward to the trip. Dont' see myself doing too much sleeping. Worried about losing my bankroll playing too much blackjack; but I gotta look at it as entertainment. Talk at ya when I get back. By the way, does anybody know how much a casino will charge you for a cash advance from your credit card. Thanks.
