What is your opinion of open scoring in boxing? Should there be an overhead scoreboard with a running account of three judges scoring for EVERYONE to see?

NO,NO and NO!! It would kill the sport. If a guy knows he has done enough to win the fight he can run the rest of the rounds killing the entertainment.

Besides, it would make it harder to fix matches. It's more fun to handicap bouts when you have that extra factor in there

I don't think the number of judges would make any difference fish. They have an umpire at every base (and on the foul lines during postseason) and there are still arguments in baseball. But at least you know the score

Yes, I would like to know how the fight is being scored while in progress.

I think it would be great for the fan, you could bet every round.A fighter would know where he stood in a close fight, he may need to pick it up alittle.Anybody could see if a bad score was given and know on which round it was given. I would also set up a camera at ever judge station at ringside so not only make for some great TV shots, but also be used if there is a question on the scoring of a round, the judge could be asked to explain in scoring of the round while watching that same round. However wasn't this done some time back and did not go over well?

I'd favor it just cause boxing is the only sport where the event has ended and you don't really know who won. But it'll never happen - too much tradition.

Why should boxing not have the score up as the match progresses?
All other sports do.
