I'm not sure how many of you guys use Pinnacle but most here give them good endorsements.
I was watching the line last nite hoping it would come down to 7 and it did about 10 minutes before kickoff. I tried to place a bet but kept receiving an error "browser error, please retry" when placing my password for confirmation. I tried with both IE and Mozilla and received the same error. I eventually called in my bet (a loser) and got smoked for phone juice (-115) despite the site not working.
Halftime rolls around and I decide to take a look at the line and want to make a bet, lo and behold - everything works fine and my bet goes right in.
I think Pinnacle cut off Internet betting right after they lowered the line and received a bet of $35K of which the phone operator for some reason felt compelled to tell me about...now $35K should not be enough to get everyone excited at a bonafide book, but there was all kinds of wierd background noise going on while I was on the phone.
...this is just a heads up that Pinnacle may cut off bets when they fear a one sided run coming online. I am new to them but last nite left a bad taste in my mouth with their professionalism. I love their lines but I'm taking my action elsewhere.
