What caused the Pinnacle website to go down? Anyone worried about them?

Did they ever explain WHY it occurred?

Some posters talked about pulling out of there while the website was down. Is everyone back to "business as usual" with them?

Not worried AT ALL. It was DOS attack, which several other books have been hit by over the past 10 days.

pee-wee,

pinnacle as with other online companies like AOL, YAHOO, etc. can have technical problems. The offshore sportsbook industry is located in 2nd and 3rd world countries where there are no ATT's Sprint and MCI's to furnish them with bandwidth and customer service. Most of these countries have a hard time keeping electricty supplied to their citizens let alone phones and bandwidth for their business clients. SHIIT HAPPENS even in the USA!

There's nothing to worry about as far as Pinnacle being a solid book. They handled the whole thing very poorly from a customer service standpoint but that's not really surprising seeing as Pinnacle doesn't give a shit about customer service anyway. So basically you could say everything is status quoe with Pinnacle. They're still a solid joint and still a very overrated book.
