Why not wait til HALFTIME to WAGER? It does seem logical.

Most of the time I`m strategizing my halftime action , instead why not just start wagering at halftime? The mystery is gone you can see what kind of defense is being played , whether teams are going underneath with their offense, etc....

Its much easier to WIN if you wait til halftime! It may take away a little from the actual excitement but I bet many players would be more succesful waiting til halftime....Does anyone practice this style of play, only wagering at halftime?

The books adjust their lines anyhow J~Man......BUT, they have to do it so quickly, with sometimes many games at once, they do often put out bad numbers at halftime, which is an advantage to us, therefore, making your belief correct in my opinion.

RPM , I`m just trying to post gambling related stuff so TTINCO doesn`t go whining, but as usual he is challenging me,lol...I thought this would be gambling related enough for him,lol...

TT, I say from my perspective its easier to win if I wait til halftime...However I`m sure I`m WRONG and YOUR RIGHT!

I have proven to myself over and over that I cannot beat the book before the game starts, but give me a half of football to watch on a game that very few have interest in and I'll make a dollar or two.

I do alot of halftime wagers. Usually unders when a lopsided game, assuming the winning team will slow the pace and run clock. The winning team total under seems to be the better play than 2nd half game under.

This is a genius post. I have never thought of doing that, until now. The biggest advantage is that in certain situations, the team that wins the first half will lose the second half.

Here is what I found at halftime I like Penn st +6.5 over 21...If Penn St scores one TD I am basically in a no lose situation...I like thesekind of plays...Its all gravy today either way...

other advantages from last week..

taking unlv v. wisconsin 2nd half...wisc showed no offense potential...yes wisconsion was a 20 pt favoite but to come back to win that game seemed very very hard...ulv was getting 14 pts in the 2nd half on some books..

tampa bay bucs v. eagles....did the eagles really have a shot in the 2nd half?

however i did get burned on fsu -9 2nd half....though it did look like taht had several opps to cover teh spread v. Tech....if only they would of kicked a fg instead of gettign picked in the endzone..or attempted that late fg ...then the possibilit of a 1 pt win (and fsu winning by 7 in the 2nd half) wouldn't of factored into the equation..

KInd of sucks waiting for halftime though when you bet parlays like me. It is too hard to line up both halves in 2 or 3 games sometimes. Sometimes you have about 1 minute to place your bet IF THAT!

Why not wait til HALFTIME to WAGER? It does seem logical.
