Governor Sebelius says gambling supporters in Kansas would have a better chance of getting a new gaming bill passed if they'd unite behind a single plan.
Sebelius spoke to a business group yesterday in Dodge City.
She said a gaming bill has passed either the House or the Senate for the last ten years. But she said gaming proponents have become divided about which of the bills they support.
Sebelius has appointed a task force of gaming supporters from across the state to come up with a consensus proposal she can take to the Legislature next year.
She's hoping to have a report from the task force by early November.
