I have in front of me the moderator salaries for each and every moderator...One thing that surprised me was the difference in contracts ( size and length )...I know Ken won`t be happy me reporting this out in the open but any good reporter has to do what he has to do...

here goes...

Shrink annual salary 3.5 Million

McIrish 76,000 ONE YEAR DEAL (with option)

The General 5yr deal 46,000 per yr.
Dante 3 yr deal 46,000 per yr.
RPM 3 yr deal 46,000 per yr.

Strut/Fishhead 6 month 12,000 Option for 1 year @ 30k

Angelle 2 year deal 38,000 per yr.

I was very surprised at the amount these guys/gals pull in! Very impressive, and as always they earn every penny!

I would be shocked if this is how much they make. It seems like more of a pastime than a job.

You're nuts Journey, you are way off. I can honestly predict approx what they make, NO JOKE..

You have Dante making about 4k/month, I have him making about 1k/month

You have General making about 4k/month, I have him making roughly 1500/month

You have RPM making 4k/month, I have him making roughly what Dante makes at 1k/month.

Angelle you have making roughly 1500/month, I have her making roughly 1k/month (she's hardly here)

Fishhead you have him making 2k/month, I say that is pretty close. Your best guess so far.

McIrish you have him making over 6k a month, I have him making anywhere between 3500 and 5k a month..

And finally shrink, you have him making 3.5 mill a year, I have him clearing roughly 750k/year from this site..

Your numbers are too high. Yes, shrink does make good money here, but he is a smart businessman.. He ain't going to pay these boys as much as you estimated.

, I thought that is what the Mods. paid Shrink, to be able to post on this site. Are you trying to tell me the Shrink pays them???

SHRINK- I want my partnership buy in back! I thought we were suppose to make money off posters, not pay them. WHODATHUNKIT

if Jman gets anywhere over 50K a year im going to be pissed... I think he makes more like 35K with a clause that allows him to extra time to work out on Tues and Thursdays.

I just like beating him up a bit when he starts threads like this! He only makes a thread like this to generate interest and get people fired up! Well he has done that and I am trying to add a little fuel to the fire!

To be honest, some of you moderators just make it a bit too obvious with some of your threads that you are only posting things to generate posts within a thread

Generally, moderators have a threefold responsibility: to ensure that members are following the community rules, to assist new members, and to foster lively discussion. A good moderator ensures that his/her forum is inviting, active, and an asset to the community as a whole.

Of course, the purpose of the community will determine how strong the presence of the moderator should be. For example, in a message board provided for a gamblers audience, firm moderation may be necessary for the enjoyment of all members.
