I was building a church in a community not far from my home. The Pastor came to the job site and informed me of what had happened. I locked my tools up and went straight home.

I was abruptly woken, hungover in a dorm room. With my sister working in Manhattan, it was a scary day.

I watched plane 2 fly into the building live.

I was on long island packing to go home to nyc.Was listening to howard stern when they announced it. Moved out of the city 2 months later. If the terrorists goal is to scare they got me scared enough to leave my lifelong home....bastards

Listening to Howard Stern while doing some work at my desk in my home office.

He reported that a plane flew into the WTC, I thought he was kidding.

I was in a state-of-the art lecture with great AV capabilities. When I got there the first plane hit on the big screen. Then the lecturer turned off the screen and said let's get to business...

can't believe he just turned it right off

Pancho,
Howard did a real good job that day. I felt more comfortable listening to him then the network stiffs. He said the things i think we all felt...

I was at home, working as I had been for years for a company from my home computer. I heard something on the radio, went downstairs and turned it on. As Dante did, I saw the second plane hit live too. Then spent the whole day watching. I had tickets to see Tiger Woods in an exhibition in St. Louis that week, bought a shitload of week-long passes for the tournament, the WGC, and had to get refunds when they cancelled it - still have never seen Tiger in person. And I still have the tickets. Friends of mine who went in advance got stranded for a few days there.

Never forget.

I had just gotten out of the shower. I was getting ready to go take a microbiology test. Needless to say, I didn't do to well on test. Luckily we were able to drop the lowest grade.

On a plane from Hong Kong to Jakarta. When we made a stop in Singapore I decided not to continue the journey, but spent a few days in Singapore and Batam (ach good old Batam) instead! I will not forget that the next day Champions League matches were cancelled. Advertisers decided that because people preferred watching the 9-11.

In my apartment at school, woke up and had a network on, but did not really figure out what was going on, to me it looked like the plane had barely hit the building, and i didnt think it was going to fall. Then I got to campus and watched it outside the classroom. The professor told us class was canceled, both of my other classes were still on after that though.
