The American League in particular could have the best showcase of evenly matched teams...NY BOS OAK and CHI ,will make for a great round of playoffs..In the National League the Giants appear to have the best balance , if Florida gets in they have the type of pitching that could carry them, Atlanta with all the offense now lacks pitching all the way around....I like the Red Sox chances this time...

Boston and San Francisco that would be different and exciting!

If they get in! And who`d a thunk it...The Big Hurt leading the way! He may take AL MVP!

And with the addition of Colon,Loaiza steals the thunder and is actually the front runner for CY YOUNG!

Dangerous team and they can't walk away from that pathetic division? I don't know about that, I think everyone has a shot that gets in, but they can't be impressive if they can't get it done against mediocre competition.

Giants look to be the monster team, they are in a perfect spot allowed to cruise home without expending effort like the Braves. Teams that can cruise home, yet have offense and a decent first three in the rotation are hard to beat.

Wild Bill , look at what Chicago has done since the horrible start, thats what I`m saying ...they have the pitching that is capable with the big two who can go out and shut anyone down if on...

I still am goin with Boston vs San Fran...

PS WILD BILL < DO YOU STILL THINK THE RAVENS ARE A GOOD SLEEPER FOR THE SUPER BOWL? that defense is overrated, they need to play football and stop yapping after every one yard loss! Ravens are all trash talk ...

Boston vs San Fran

Boston vs Atlanta

Both would be great for baseball. Not just saying this cause yours trully is a Bosox fan.....but the Res Sox add drama to a World Series........1986,1975,1967. No true baseball fan can forget what happened in those World Series's........besides the fact the Red Sox lost all three. Even the 1946 World Series that they lost had an infamous play of baseball lore. By the way, they lost these 4 Series's in 7 games.

They have played in some of the most dramatic, none more dramatic than 86 or 75...On the brink of winning both only to go down ( I remember them well ) The 67 series I use to have this book when I was in elementary school I would always borrow, it was about the 1967 7 game World Series : )

I`d love to see Boston get over the hump, here`s an even better dream matchup...

Boston vs Cubs ( Would that be wild!)
