I know this isnt about gambling, but you guys are the smartest guys i know.

I have a T1 connection and I download through Winmx. It is extremely slow, I mean super. It takes hours to get a song. Anybody have any ideas on how to improve this, or if i need a different program. Also anyone know how to delete a file taht says it cant be deleted? Thanks

I use cable and download WinMx with no problems. I get most songs under 10 minutes. Try to adjust the bandwith thru the WinMx controls. Make sure the computers not using the file at all before you try to delete it.

I changed the incoming bandwidth throttle to 100 million. Is that what you are talking about, it seemed to make it a bit faster, but not too much.

could it be because I use a secondary network instead of primary? It wont let me do primary, but I swear it was faster last spring
