This statement speaks for itself.

All the bullshit stories and marketing tactics of the newer "one day to be superbooks of the future" is just bullshit.

NONE of these clowns will EVER REPLACE the offshore stores like Grande, Oly, Cris, Cascade, Heritage, WWTS, WSEX, Carib, Pinny, etc.when it comes to paying their customers, and dealing squarly and fairly!

If a book doesn't have a absolute untarnished record for paying it's customers for at least 5 years straight - my advise is don't bet there.

JOEY- Agree with you for the most part, however I think it is unfair to say that all new books are not worth playing at. Lets hope the industry breeds less and less scammers and sites like the RX can pave the way for a solid industry.

Strut:

Newer books ( under 5 years of solid offshore performance) don't have the ethics or history, to even shine some of the old school BM's shoes.

Any talk about replacing the established guys in a year or two is just a fantasy, period !

Personally, I think most of these newer stores don't have the financial or moral wherewithall to be around if they had a real bad football year!

J Leno:

You're right, I forgot to include Del Mar.

Out of sight - out of mind.

PS: Good hearing from you last night, hope to see you in Oct. JC

Young Guns are good.

The new books get thru day one, they are one step closer. There are hundreds great books out there. Some old school, some new school. Some old will make it, some new will make it.

Without the young guns, there is no future.

What are some of the new books we are talking about here?

General:

When the new books have 5 years + under their belts, they won't be new books any longer.

Most new books are only good for advertising revenue...

I see.

Wish we could convince all on the net to stay away from the questionable books, but we can't reach them all.

Have a good day

The good people get overshadowed by the crooks often. I understand where you are coming from.
