The RIAA is suing individuals over downloading copyrighted songs over file-sharing software on the internet.
Not only is this complete BS, but it sets a dangerous precedent.
What's next suing individual gamblers who wager on the internet?

And how can they possibly prove that? Monitoring your activity on file sharing sites and then confiscating your cpu!! I don't think so!

They sued a 12-yeard old girl in that lawsuit. She was an honor student from her school and had downloaded some Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera after her mother (heres the kicker) dished out 29.95 to use the Kazaa service. It was settled a day later and the family had to pay $2000.

Complete bullshit.

actually Tiger, they got the info from the sites and sued the people. Said they could be liable for 50k for each song. One guy was an 81 yr old grandfather whose grandkids used his computer.
