I agree Chris, no one even clapped when Brittney was singing(lipsinking), but Aerosmith still kicks ass. I first saw this band about 30 years ago and they still rock. Later and lets go Skins!!

DON'T EVER FORGET THE EAGLES, BOB SEGER & THE SILVER BULLETS, BRUCE SPRINGSTEIN & THE EAST STREET BAND & FLEETWOOD MAC!!!

My favorite of these are the Eagles though...

They wrote their own music, they have more number 1 hits than Aerosmith, and they broke up years ago.

All of them were unbelievable musicians whereas the same cannot be said about Aerosmith!

I think Floyd is a British band, otherwise I would have said

Led Zepplin but they are Brits too. It is "American" bands only. Would vote for Van Halen and Metallica even though as a "metal" band they are not purely rock n roll in the tradition since. I like Aerosmith a great deal too. Great pipes on Steven Tyler and a good lead guitarist also. Eagles are awesome too...so many bands...
