Update on Kyl Bill

My source in DC wrote me this weekend and said that conditions were not favorable for this bill at least for now. The Senate has got a ton of business to do, especially getting the budget spending bills done. They are theoretically supposed to be done by October 1, but chances are they will go past that. Add to that the clamor for prescription drug bill resolution and the Iraq and North Korea situation and it becomes a very low priority. No word on it being dead, just that the recent claims of quickly taking it up are likely just to be bluster.
