I made the mistake of signing up with Dave Cokin a couple of years ago for his college game of the year and now Jim Feist Sports and other scamdicappers from his business will not quit calling. They called me 15-20 times last year and have already called me 5 times this week wanting to sell me Jim's great picks. They just will not listen to the fact that he is the last person I would ever seek advice from on football.

Just a word of warning.....don't call these guys or you will really regret it....

By the way...the game of the year was a loser..imagine that.

jr- Welcome to the RX forums. I feel for you and your dilemma. Hopefully you will find a way to curtail the Feist callers.

They can't call you after Oct. 1st. If they do file a complaint. That's the only way people are going to stop these scamdicappers. By the way Cokin's people are within 15 feet of Feist. Feist owns five different companies and one of them is Cokin. If you want to have fun, call Cokin's number and ask for Jim Feist. They will be thrown off and tell you to hold until they realize which line is which,

Call the fbi on them and bury the coke head scum bags. It works and then they will not call you anymore. Anyone that calls me I just tell them I am calling the feds on your next call to shut you the fuk down.

Here is Jim Feist Sports local number in Vegas. Simply ask for his personal secretary and tell her you want your name removed from the sales list. Dial (702) 364-1063 and ask for Anita.

Would yopu believe that actually THEY CAN call after the deadline! They are not at all affected by the no call law. You see this guy entered into a business relationship with a sports betting service, so they can call 20 times a day if they want. My suggestion, just change your number

Thanks for the response all. I have posted on a few forums and have had some great responses..even a few on how to make it hurt them more than it hurts you.

Truthfully, I thought Cokin was to good a handicapper to need to resort to these boiler room tactics. I am really surprised and dissapointed.

Why don't you call them 4 times a day ask for their supervisor and ask for his daily Bonus Plays.

Do it until you become a pain in their ass..

I'd like to clear up a misconception. While it is true that a company can initially call you if they have a prior 'business relationship', they cannot continue to call you once you tell them to put you on your 'do not call' list. You are opting out by doing that. It's not like you're trapped in the Twilight Zone, helpless while they can call you night and day all they like.

You might as well have fun with it, because you can call the FBI, you can sign up for a no call list or whatever and they are still going to call you until they feel like stopping.

Dont kid yourselves, the no call list is not going to stop these guys from calling your house. Hell, people arent even sure of the exact stipulations of who can and who cant call. You better just **** with the guy for a while. For instance when he calls back tell him you were so sure of his picks that you unloaded all your stocks, bonds, and cash and played it last night equally on his 3 plays - Atlanta, Arizona, and CWS. They all 3 lost.

You have to be ready when he calls, make this believable man. Unload on him, start crying man and ask him what are you going to do, you have 3 kids and a wife and have been laid off at work. ask him if there is anything he can do for you. a loan ? a job ? tell him you have lost everything and you dont know what you are going to do. Dont laugh or even giggle. Act like your world is totally ****ed. Act like your serious. Beg him for $100 just so you can feed the kids for a few days while you try and figure something out. If you do it well you will be laughing your ass off after he hangs up and he wont call you again.

You would have won if you just bet Cokin's "Under the Hat" play. What's the difference between his Gold Key, Solid Gold, Pure Gold and Contest Gold? I actually like Dave Cokin. I listen to him on the radio and
think he is well informed. It's a shame he associated himself with Feist but you got to go
where the money is.
