I had a problem with them in the past when i used my capital one credit card. I had to wait a while, however, i did get my money. Once i hooked up my personal checking acount things have been very smooth never had any problems. The great thing about them is once you verfiy all your bank info your funds are availabe right away to deposit in the sportsbook of your choice. However when you withdrawl from the sportsbook it takes about two-three days to show up in your checking accout. Also everything is free of charge. My question is why is netteller so popular, when it takes three days to go threw a clearing house and they charge a fee to have your funds available immedatley. I have heard complaints in the past about firepay. I my opinion i think they have done a wonderful job in servicing there customers.

No offense Sportster...but just WAIT till you have problems.....and you WILL.

Firepays customer service is a joke. They have none.

Good luck in the future, you'll need it.

Cecil,

Ya wanna here something funny?

I had an ongoing problem with Firepay.

For about 6 months. Had a 300.00 balance in my Firepay account, that they had locked, no withdrawls. They said I had changed my banking information. ( which I had not). After a zillion emails back and forth, showing them my banking info had not changed, I gave up. The funds just sat there as they did an " investigation ". It was like beating your head against a rock.

Months went by, nothing from them. Evidently, things take time at the ole Firepay. I almost forgot about the account.

So a month ago, I'm surfing, and I remember about that 300.00 bucks. I send them an email asking if my funds can be "sent", not withdrawn. They say sure, no problem.

So I go to a online casino, sign up, and send them 300.00 ( Luckynugget.com )

Start playing 5 dollar video poker. Nothing, just losing. My wife is looking over my shoulder and wants to play, so I say " go ahead hun, have fun "

She starts playing 5 dollars a hand, 25 a hand, 10 dollars a hand, just having fun.

20 minutes later, I hear here scream!

Get this!

She hits a Royal Flush !

4000.00 bucks!

I practically shit my pants.

The Casino, within 7 days credits 300.00 back to the Firepay account, and after sending them some copies of info, they courior a check for 3700.00

So now were back to square one. But with a bonus.

True story.

The sportsbook put the money back into Firepay quickly--but it took me 2 weeks or more to get Firepay to put the money back onto credit card. BUT--I will say that the lady I talked with on the phone was very polite and seemed concerned for me. (I truly do think they were busy at that time -with credit cards). They did get the funds back to card and I would guess their customer service has improved--because of NO (or damn little ) credit cards.
Where are they located ? In the USA or Canada or?
Also does anyone know where Palm Desert Bank (Prepaid ) is located? Just curious-by nature.

>where Palm Desert Bank (Prepaid ) is

Rancho Mirage, Ca

This place sucks. It has been literally 7 months now that I have been getting the any-day-now messages from them. I send them weekly e-mails and every three weeks or so, just when it seems like I am getting somewhere, the person I was working on things with "no longer works there" and I have to start all over with a new guy.

Currently, the guy is Jasper. Before that it was Lisa. Before that, I don't remeber.

I am told that my money will be cleared "very shortly." I get the same message every damn time I write.

This place is a joke. They don't return e-mails. They don't follow up. If you have problems, write it off. You won't live long enough to get things straightened out over there.

Ultimately I am still waiting for their processor in Ireland to release the funds. They have agreed that a mistake was made, they tell me it is their fault, and that it will be fixed shortly.

That was back in June, already 2 months after they screwed me to begin with.

And the worst part that I always add to this story, the money is not mine, but Olympics. And Olympic doesn't give a shit to contact their own processor. I have been left to handle this on my own. You would think someone there would be interested in keeping a good customer and in getting their $2000. I guess Spiro has more important things to do.

I am obviously sick of the whole situation.

F!ck Firepay.

I got the impression from my one encounter there two years ago that they were understaffed. I was on hold for over 30 minutes (toll free #): so it was costing them. Yet they did straighten it out.Maybe I was just lucky.

Thanks Fat--about Palm Desert--I figured they might be in the US (my guess was Nevada). But California is a surprise---Just wait till big brother finds this out. My God they have my ss#!(But I was a loser).

Firepay is in Ireland?????????

Far as I know they don't even have a toll free # any more.

These people are bad news.

...yes, they have some problems, but they're pretty good overall for what they do.

They're about the only way to get money reliably offshore save for Netteller and a few others.

I like them.

You know... You've made your point over and over again and now it has become a life's mission! You now appear fervid! Are you a NeTeller shill?

...Always wondered why SIA gave 20% bonuses for Firepay Deposits and 10% for other methods.

No Fats--Not a shill for anyone. I liked Paypal--but they are gone. I wanted Predpaid (as a US company) to be successfull and perhaps they will be--but I disagree with their policy. If I overstated that--let me apologize. I wanted someone to explain it to me--No one did or can. At least with no explanation that makes any sense.
Hang in there Prepaid!!!!

>let me apologize

No need to... I was/am a bit perturbed over my Hockey bet tonite. It was one I thought I had a great angle on.

It wouldnt bother me if the books would put-up a 3way bet on hockey, like soccer.

Why they don't change the game is beyond me...no one likes ties.

I contend that a tied score at the end of regulation be handled as follows:

A coin toss to determine who gets to go on a 3-minute 5 on 4 first...you try to score as many goals with the man advantage as possible...then the opponent gets the advantage...repeat until each team has taken an equal number of advantages and a winner has been determined.

The Book could help with 1/2 puck totals as well.

Remember the NHL finals last season...

Wasn't it 3 OTs ?

As with all sports, playoff Hockey is Hockey at its BEST.

I recall quite a few great playoff games last season.

The office I talk to regularly is in Canada somewhere. They do apparently have offices also in Ireland, but I know for sure that their holding bank, or processing bank, or whatever it is, exists in Ireland. I had my bank call them there for assistance.
