Olympic canceled bet (Stl vs Cubs GM2)

My bet was canceled on game 2 cards vs cubs listed pitchers morris/wood.

I called them to find out why and they said THEYmade an error on listing pitchers they put K Morris vs K Woods ?? the K on Morris should have been a M.

I told them there was only one Morris on the team and he pitched so I should be paid on your error.

They told me to call back later and they will ask the person who made the error if I should get paid or not.

Check you Tickets...I'll keep you posted

Sounds shady, but I suspect Olympic will do the right thing and honor the wager.

They are amongst the elite in terms of fairness.

sounds like a no brainer they should fix the mistake....but Max, Why post about it if they have no said they are NOT paying you..why not wait until tommorrow or something???.. give them a chance to do the right thing..

I believe it was an honest mistake but the part I don't understand is why cancel the bet? I always take the time to check pending bets to make sure bet was accepted but who really looks at the first intial or for that matter knows the correct first intial on starting pitchers? Morris vs Woodsthats what I see and then bet accordingly.

I made this post for those of you who made of placed the same bet or total ...check your tickets.

Night shift clerk grading error......

Fixed first thing in the AM if not sooner.

The bet was graded as CANCELED so I just want to make sure that anyone who had game 2 checks there ticket, sometimes you might get overlooked if you do not bring it there attention ( if there was an error).

Like I said they will look into it and I will post update

This has happened to me a LOT at a few different books. I eventually got to the point where I didn't even bother trying to reconcile anything the same night because of all the "night shift clerks".

Send an email that night or call in the AM.....end of story.

Not trying to stir things up on one of the best books out there and I am sure that Everyone will get paid on that bet but I sure in the heck hope that someone brings these issues to everyones attention because I am not to sure that every sportsbook would do the same.

Some books might be well aware of the error but might not be so eager to fix error until you make them aware of the fact.
