I think that I have stated this beofre lasxt year, but can someone tell me why some shops offer reduced odds of like -105 for ONLY straight bets?????????

Pinnacle has the odds fo -105, but then when you want to parlay, you get the -110!!! What are they afraid of? I know that with -105 we can get true odds, but still seems weird to me that they dont offer the -105 in parlays as well. I have noticed that the same was true in the NBA last season.

Any books offer the -105 or -107 ALSO in parlays????

Allow me to give my theory. Believe most regards teasers and parlays in football as completely different enities, meaning they are not connected to the odds they have on straight bets. Put it this way....ask yourself why a book doesnt just grade a football parlay like a baseball parlay.....money into money. It is because they have set payoffs for their parlays and teasers. Not really answering your question am I??

I would just analyze any book where your able to lay less than -110 on a straight bet as a PLUS and understand the theory of the parlays and teasers being seperate. Be very happy that you are laying less than -110 on the straight bets.

Lets take Pinny for example. They offer -105 on straight bets in football instead of re-up bonus money. This makes the reduced juice a perk. To extend that juice to teasers and parlays would be nice for us players, but not so nice for the book. Many books, including Pinnacle clean up on parlay and teaser action in football. To expect them (unfortunately) to cut into that revenue by reducing juice is unrealistic. I know there are a few books out ther that offer 2team 6 point NFL teasers with no juice, but I don't want to sound like a schill so will not mention anymore books. I would like to here from any poster who know of a book offering no juice 6 point teasers in the NFL.

Well teasers are sucker bets in my view anyway. I stopped betting teasers a few years ago when i bet a 5 team teaser in football. OF COURSE I won it, but NATURALLY all games covered the real spread by AT LEAST4 points per game.

I would think that even 2 team teasers are stupid bets in my book. Just parlay the 2 teams using the real spread.

I would guess that pinny reduced juice doesnt really matter to alot of betters since they only bet parlays. I do bet straight bets as well, but most of my plays in football would be $969 2 team parlays or higher parlays. SOmetimes 3 teamers as well.

reduced juice means a book has to be more careful to adjust their lines, if they want the losers to pay the winners and leave some vig for the house

in parlays and teasers, the house has no idea if a player even has action on a given team until the other team's game is finished

hence there's no way for them to more carefully adjust their lines, hence they need the wider potential profit margin (i.e. -110) to begin with

Two-team teasers in the NFL are a VERY solid wager if getting reasonable odds.

Your absolutely right Strut, teasers are becoming more and more favorable to bettors. If you like 2 teams at +4 for example, how can you argue with getting them both at +10, for even money! Special teasers at 10 & 14 are valuable when they can be used on the over/unders, IMO.

Guys, this was an easy question. There must be others but I know that Canbet gives their true -107 odds also on parlays.

The 2tm 6pt teaser if u can get 1 to 1 in the NFL is a very good bet. The precise nature of the # is the reason. Why else do only a few offer it? Some will let u mix CFB & NFL. Most CFB OK NFL no! Dare I mention millbet as one of the few that offer this. I know they`re not popular & I`m not crazy about them either but they do also offer FREE 1/2 pt on Fri and exclude ONLY #3 in the NL. So there is some good in all.
