Alternate runline

For the Diamondbacks/Padres game Pinny has the spread +1.5/-1.5 as -210/+190. Their alternate runline has the spread +1.5/-1.5 as -215/+195

Last night's alternate is today's mainline spread, but someone is asleep at the switch!

no their not, line has now moved and AZ is now the chalk.

Alt run line is correct and the main run line will probably change and SD will be plus 1.5 at some point.

Whenever you think Pinny has made an error, think again because they make very few mistakes.

Maybe I didn't write this clearly enough.

At the time I posted you could lay Arizona+1.5 for -210 OR -215 while Padres-1.5 could be bet for either +190 OR +195 depending upon which web page you used. This assumes they would take the listed price.

Pancho: Woody is absolutely correct - they indeed did have that listed this morning and it was up quite a while. I forgot to post that here - you usually never see them do that - it was definitely a mistake on their part.

how is it an advantage to lay -210 and take +190?

They simply didn't adjust the line as the fav changed, no big deal.

Okay, let's stop for a second here!

The MILD problem was that Pinnacle didn't post a TRUE alternate run-line until later. Instead, they posted a slightly different runline as the alternate runline, and they didn't bother to change it for hours. That's all - the only point being, depending on which screen you were looking at, you could get a better price for your team on the RL. Here's the current alternate RL:

Az -1.5 +147
Sd +1.5 -157

This was certainly no big deal, just a little odd that Pinnacle would post approximately the same bet for both the RL and alt RL.
