Apparently he was asked to pinch hit last night and refused.

He missed the doctor's appointment on Sunday and was apparently although not confirmed seen in a bar on Saturday night. Apparently, his illness was much exxagerated.

This just sucks though, there is nothing worse than being a RedSox fan.

Whether he deserved a suspension or not, I would NOT suspend him during this pennant chase. Plus he has a guaranteed 5 years and over $100 million left on his contract.

the white media critizes sosa for corking his bat, pedro martinez comes out and tells it like it is - "they are attacking sammy because he's latino. if mark mcgwire corked his bat, it would not get this kind of attention".

i'm sure if you look into it, you will see that the person that "saw" manny ramirez in a bar on saturday night is a white guy. wait, the manager of the red sox is white isn't he? i bet if felipe alou was the manager, manny would not be suspended.
