Should D.C/ Virginia have their own Baseball Team ? Its been talked about for 20 freakin years will this ever happen? Should it happen?
I know your not wild about Baseball Ken, but it will give you something to root for besides those overrated Hokies!!!!

I say, sure, why not? They have the leading murder rate in the nation, and apparently the schools are in shambles in D.C., give 'em a baseball team and that'll pretty much fix their problems - a bobble head doll night for Teddy Kennedy would be a great draw.

Fist of all, I live in SOUTHEN VIRGINIA, which is NOT that close to Washington D.C...

I am about 15 minutes from the CAROLINA border whereas I am over 3 hours away from D.C..

The Tidewater area of Virginia where I live is so transient due to the huge military presence that exists in Norfolk, Va...

I believe that's the REAL REASON that the Tidewater area of Virginia will not be that attractive for a Professional sports franchise...

Virginia did have the "Squires" i believe was the name of that ABA team.. Padres almost moved their back in the mid 70`s

Not enough fan support down there and team will be a flop. Also to many hicks and country men down there. Lots of clowns in Virginia still think we are fighting the civil war. I mean the people down in some of those historic areas still wear civil war clothes to work and while just hanging around. I guess they are proud.
