Looks like I am in good shape but someone shoot me if I play Boston again. From that bum Ortiz not sliding at home (Giambi flashbacks) to their pitching this team has no heart. Sorry Beantown fans but this team does not have what it takes to do anything post season.

Up 13-9 in bottom of the 9th let's see if they can hang on. Probably not much better than even money with these guys.....

No heart? They lost two straight over the last two days to their arch rivals, and came out today and were down 4-0 in the second. They came back. They were down in the 8th and scored two to go ahead, then after the pitching let them down they had a series of great AB in the 9th and won a very, very difficult game. That was all heart. What a ridiculous statement.

Yeah those Red Sox are just loaded with heart. LOL. I haven't see this many bums since the global hobo convention in 1984. If they make the play-offs it will be their usual disappearing act. ZZZZzzzzzzzz......

This chair I'm sitting in has better arms than that club.

Let's not forget that AWESOME west coast trip they had against the Mariners and A's their rivals for the wildcard spot.

LOL, sorry Fishhead but I just don't like this team. Down the stretch they come and Manny is out 3 games with a sore throat aganst the Yankees!!? Are you kidding me? Now he has missed 4 games in a row. Reports today are that people saw him in a bar on Saturday night at the hotel he lives in. Yeah that is a team with heart alright.

I admire their offense as hitters 1-9 can create havoc but this team has no chemistry, no intensity, no pitching (other than Pedro) and certainly no heart. Poor guys get a sore throat and end up on the 15 game DL.

Agree, they are weak in pitching. However I believe you are way off base in your assumptions of their starting nine. Personally, dont think you will find a team that can field a starting nine with more chemistry, heart, and intesity. Just go down the order and analyze each hitter. Agree, this team may not win it all and probably are an underdog to even make the playoffs, but as a lifelong Red Sox fan....I love this starting nine and the way they battle and battle you with every at-bat. Cmon sir, hard not to like Nomar and Trot at least. The two are the consumate pros.
