Okay before I get started here I should have checked the final score on the Niner Charger game on Friday night but I didn't and it cost me..Anyway here goes..Placed a wager on Friday for my remaining balance to win 2100.It was a 4 game teaser.I was out having a few wobbly pops at a sportsbar and was keeping an eye on the scores although my attention span was lacking somewhat after quite a few Canadians but was aware that I won the 1st 3 games and all I needed was the Niners to come in for the win but wasn't feeling any pain and the result of that game was the last thing on my mind on Friday at midnight.any I get home around 2 am pretty impaired stagger to the puter log onto site and see my account balance at 2100.So before I hit the sack throw in a couple wagers for college ball on Saturday just in case I sleep in..So this brings me to Sunday night.I lost both wagers so my account is drained so I make a neteller deposit and it doesn't show up in my account..I was going to email but emailing Diamond is a waste of time because half the time they never reply anyway..so I phone and after being on hold and being tranferred to 4 different people I get this jagoff telling me that there was no money in my account for the wagers I placed on Friday night.. So my question to the lad was how the Phuck do I place a wager without money in my account. After being on the phone with this mastermind for 10 minutes finally had enough and hung up the phone...Turns out that they graded the tease a win when in fact it was a loss.who knows when they dicovered this but let the plays go on instead of cancelling both of the wagers immediatly after knowing I had no money in my account.Turns out that they are keeping the neteller deposit I made towards the wager I made that I had no money for in the first place..like I'm going to make another deposit at this phucking outfit...Stay the hell away from this popsicle stand..what a effin joke..grade a loss a win and when they find out it's a loss let the wagers go on then keep your deposit..BLOW ME DIAMOND

Sounds like BS to me. Regardless of your college results those should be graded NO ACTION since you had NO money to actually bet with. Now if you were a credit player then it wouldn't matter, but that certainly doesn't appear to be the case.

Maybe Diamond can come share their side?

never had a problem with DSI and actually like a lot of their lines...

"all I needed was the Niners to come in for the win but wasn't feeling any pain and the result of that game was the last thing on my mind on Friday at midnight."

maybe you should check the scores of the games before you place anymore bets and not assume anything??

Don't blame them for your lack of attention...

Drunkguy..

this has nothing to do with my lack of attention..no way that any bet should be valid with no money in the account...that's the point....GET IT

Interesting case but I would probably rule in favor the player right now. I don't buy for a moment the line about having a 4 team teaser for $2100 and "not realizing" if he won or not. He knew he won the first 3 games but wasn't sure on the last game? No offense Dan but I don't believe it, every time I hear "out drinking with the guys" excuse it makes me suspicious. I would guess you knew you lost but came home and discovered they had graded it a win. Instead of letting them know you quickly bet two games for Saturday to press the issue. Had they won and the book not graded them winners (after discovering you didn't really have money in your account) we would be hearing this was an accepted bet and had I known I didn't have the money I would have sent it in. I DEMAND TO BE PAID FOR THIS BET!! LOL.

Still having said this I think if the guy is strictly a post up player than the book can not honor wagers where he had no money in his account. Unless there was some arrangement made with the player I do not think it's right to keep his next Neteller deposit on a mistake the book made grading the initial bet. I'll wait to see if there is another side but rule (almost grudgingly) for the player at this point.

Yeah, but if he intentionally tried to screw them, then I think he would've stayed clear of trying to re-deposit into the account. If he were smart enough to be trying to screw the book, I doubt his very next move would be to re-deposit the next day, knowing full well there would be complications ahead.

Wasn't Ivan given an e-mail from the book asking him to re-deposit or send them money to pay for the bet? LOL...what the hell are these books thinking sometimes? I guess this one stayed clear of doing that, and just waited... patiently, turns out for them it only took 1 day.

Hope it gets cleared up.

Everyone is human and can make mistakes. Here, the linesman or whoever grades made the mistake. They put in the wrong score and credited accounts that shouldn't have been credited. All those who had winners contacted DSI and said, "hey, I won a bet and you graded it a loser". So they simply regrade the wager. Meanwhile Dan the Man Wilson sees he has money in his account that he shouldnt have and bets it before the re-grade and now is blaming the book.

If a bank teller gives you an extra hundred and you don't give it back they debit your account $100 and on your next deposit they take it back. I rule in favor of the book.

This sums it up in a nutshell...the book made the error and corrected it. I see your point dan that they should never have made that mistake but humans do make errors. good luck

The minimum requirement in this business is that you know the score. If you do not know the score, you are screwed.

This Happened twicw with me at First Fidelity. A graded mistake! There was a win graded to my account that was a loss, didn't realize it, played another game and was a no action, but on my monthly action it showed as a minus in my account till it was graded a no action bet! Another time I called them to tell them bout the mistake ahead of time and they were very appreciative! You see if they see you do this on their mistakes it raises red flags on your account!

Seems like if he was really trying to screw the book, he would have tried to immediately withdraw after the grading miscue...

Thrillseeker,
Yes you are correct i guess bout taking the money and run but still red flags will rise if you try betting money that was graded a mistake! I'm sure most gamblers know whether they won or not after a game!

Exilarch, what happens when Don Best puts up a wrong final score?

Also do you remember that game that ended, then about 15 minutes later the refs changed a called and actually changed the final score of the game, after it was called final?

Bottom line, don't take shots.
