Plan early. No reason not too.

If that hot tip comes in late, you should try to have a credit option available.

I loaded up at 11 am Saturday morning got home called Carib, gave my control # and money was in my account in literally 2 minutes! Wasn't slow this past Saturday!

WU is running like a two legged turtle. 30 minutes is like getting a blessing from God.

I would say anywhere from 1 - 5 hours is going to be the norm.

Load up the accounts early boys. The books are doing all they can but uncle sam has his foot in the works this year.

Western Union seemed to be working fine this past weekend.

The issues related to slowdowns can be connected to Patriot Act.. WU security now checking on who the $ going to etc. how many times that person got $ sent etc. etc.

What are you basing this on? How about some info rather than blank statements.

Is their an amount threshhold above which WU kicks in all the extra time and procedures? Maybe that explains why some are having transactions fast as ever and others are taking hours.

Mr. Muny:

WU processors have to go thru a lot more hoops today to get $ in the door. Lot's of behind the scenes stuff due to additional scrutiny of the Un-Patiotic Act.

I'm advising all to give your book more time to allow them to process WU transfers in.

You want to take my advise, fine if not, that's also fine.

Bulldog: It may be where the book is receiving their WU's in as much as anything else.
