First Book to Crash this weekend

First weekend of college football and a busy time for a lot of newly trained clerks, untested stations, inadequate phone banks, etc.

Which book will be the first to collapse during crunch-time?

Please report books that crash right before post time, drop calls or are down for extended periods during the day. Let's see who did their homework and learned from pre-season.

Shrink - This could be good/bad publicity for the books that advertise here. If you have any suggestions for criteria to define and "outage/crash", I would welcome them. Possibly, fund problems with Neteller (without it being Neteller's fault).

Players only remember the winning bets they could have placed if the book wasn't down. (Never once heard of a player calling to complain he couldn't get in to place his losing Cowboy's bet.)

Still, players expect books holding their to answer the phone or have a site when they have an inspired pick.

WHy don't you do something useful and call up TCB with an estimate of how many fictitious accounts they get with their 50% bonus offer, and multiple fictitious accounts being a sanctioned activity on the RX.

What flew up your butt? Tracking the competence of sportsbooks and quality of their operations is pretty important. You pretty much find out when you can't call reach the site (so, it doesn't take a whole lot of research).

You are right in that action picks up as the season goes on. I think the peak is a little later than the 3rd week. It's been my experience that whatever action a book takes first week, by the end of October it increases about 30%.

The more establish books should not get caught with their pants down.
