I dont understand why he's taking shots at me, all I do is post plays and exchange information, I think he's lost his mind. It's got to be funny for a lot of people in the morning, the funniest part is Shack and Rail jumping in. OMG, this place cracks me up.

It always depends on who is involved, over 95% of the posters in the pick forums come to try and make money. They read or drop off their own plays and move on. If they comment in someone's else thread it is usually a positive thing. The other few though usually have had their feelings hurt and are hellbent on getting even with someone. By answering back and insulting the other poster they are showing the board they don't take no shit.

Pat, I was joking around and wondering if football week 1 last year was as volatile as this year. I was out on the lake a lot more last year and didnt post as much, but I dont remember it being so cutthroat this early.
fwiw, I dont think Raiders was at fault. I feel bad pointing the goings-on in the football forum out to you, and having the two people threatened with banishment. I honestly think Raiders is making an effort to take the high road, and he simply points out records when he is insulted (which I think is in everyone's best interest, reocords are important). I am not putting blame on Kodiak, I know that you two go way back, and I was hoping that you could talk some sense to him. I find a lot of it funny, but it had become a circus, and even TRK had enough.
I didn't want the end result, I now feel like I made a bad decision. I only wanted you to maybe email big bear, maybe have a word with him, since you guys kinda go way back. It's a best interest for everyone watch out for the newbies sorta thingy. I'm still laughing my ass off though, some of these loons crack me up.

I got a couple Rohypnol left around here somewhere, but then I'll miss the early baseball game. Got the buds with the buds comin in town tomorrow for the football game on Sunday, you ever tailgate? nothing better.
They keep bustin all the meth labs around here. I dont like the stuff, but it's nice to know it's there when you need it. The way I see it, you dont pay for it you dont have a problem.

ATX - this has been going on for a LONG time, wasn't anything you did or said at all. A VERY LONG TIME. Tonight I get notes from posters (one brand new) about it and I feel it is just time to do something instead of begging them to cooperate. Some nights we wil delete 40 responses of nothing but insults, not one thing of value inside. Yes it is worse this year than it was last IMO. Only takes a couple than others see them acting out and they think it is part of the forums. For the record I agree with you on Raiders, he has seemed to have backed off some of late. Anyway they can do it all they want in the RR forum, don't know why they can't leave it there.
In all fairness it probably would stop new posters from talking out with the risk of getting flamed by one by an agressive style of poster. Not necessarily the posters in question here but if you do not pay any heed to what they are saying then they are showing themselves up. Guys lets just get on with the task in hand, no disrespect intended.
