Recently Rio & WSEX have given into extortion & wilted under pressure to comply with this extortion.

Frankly, I cannot stomach this anymore. I feel that you are jeopardizing the honest players that put their faith into your company by compromising your finanicial and ethical positions.

Rio is amongst my favorite book & I currently play with them (IIS), but be warned any book, Rio included, that gives in to extortion has LOST a customer for life (except for Pinnacle as they are light years ahead of any other book).

I urge other honest players to do the same.

You guys all talk a good game but the minute there is a player/book dispute, 80 % of the posters jump down the books throat in these forums and scream stiff book if they don't pay up.

Look at what happeened to SIA across the street, some piece of shit tried to scam them, got caught, and a thread with over 20,000 views calling them stiffs was started.

CBS got ripped too over that bad line incident and they were almost forced to pay the guy off.

This latest scumbag exploited a software issue and got paid.

Ok, that's great Pancho, and as much as I enjoy your fabricated data - I'm serious here.

You want to see 100% of posters complain??? Then stiff them ... that's what will happen if the scammers continue to tear through these books.

This is not scientific data Pancho. This thread is about facts, it's about truth - so let's leave the imaginary poll data out, ok?
Thanks.

Now, who else thinks these books have a responsibility to protect the honest player?

Extortion, is exectly what it is. It make me want to puke. Even though I am on the other side of the counter, my concern is paying winners....Not thieves.

Its a no win situation for the books...

The books' options are as follows...

1. Do not pay the player (eg. SIA) - book gets jumped all over as a stiff book

2. Partially pay the player (eg. CBS) - book gets reamed for ripping the player off and not honoring the bet they accepted

3. Pay the player (eg. WSEX) - book getting bashed now

I would of kept revere's balance even before the bet as a penalty and donated it to charity for cheating.

Lander,

You obviously dont win at the books you bet at. If you did, you would know about being knocked back, betting limits and accounts being closed.

If this was happening to you, you would understand the game a little better.

Was this guy really a scammer???

I mean so he bet "around" the system. He still put $40,000 up at risk on a soccer bet!!! Talk about balls!

DOes anyone else think that this situation wasnt resolved exactly like evryone else thinks?? I SERIOUSLY doubt that this guy got paid hi $39,000 and $47,000 betting profit. I predict that he really got paid $39,000 plsu about $34,000 in winnings

A scammer is a guy who cheats on a bet and has somethign to do with the outcome of the game. Like when someone cheats on online games like slots or poker. If they have a progrma to do this, then that is scamming. Betting $40,000 on an underdog

IS HARDLY SCAMMING!!

Grow up JJGOLD, this guy wasnt scamming, he just won a big bet. Now I will be the first person to admit that he should not have received all of the money at +120, but he should have received about $34,000 in total payouts

I'm leaning towards the real side heavily here, but it has crossed my mind.

How many think the ENTIRE Revere14/WSEX feud was a "family feud" and not real. (Good publicity in around about way)

Well I said it once last week, I do believe that the rumor of 2 books being in trouble was bullshit. It created a lot of excitement around here but didnt work the way it was planned since no one posted at up at the books here wonderind who the book in question was!

I will say that I wont ever post up at WSEX seeing as though they wait until the rend of a game to grade a play. Had the play been a loss, then this guy wins NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

HE took a chance and won!

This has been bad publicity for WSEX
