Best for what Lobster? Please be more specific and I'm sure someone would help you. Best parlays & teaser payoffs, or what?

barbary coast
orleans
sun coast

i learned alot by viewing the over night lines and then watching the lines the next morning.

the book was hit good for totals and which way the juice went was like 80% the right side for the total.

also the locals play $5 to $10 parlays and live and die by every picth.

pretty entertaining.

Imperial Palace is the best by far, I would take IP over 90% of offshore books. I would say most offshore books suck

Coasts have the best books and it's not
even close.

Give IP the runner-up spot.

After that it gets lame fast.

Shrink, what is so good about Venetian?
They are among the worst in town, especially
for a casino with such a big bankroll.

They all suck but if I had to pick the dog with the least amount of fleas, it would be the Coast properties. Sports betting was shut down here about 5 or 6 years ago. The casinos have a guaranteed win with the slots and table game so they just have the sports books there for the 5 and 10 dollar bettors who love those rip off parlay cards.

Bring your cell phone so you can call your offshore accounts and bet there.

Soccerbob: I started a thread once on the subject of cell phones in the LV sportsbooks, and many posters said they are strictly forbidden, along with laptops.

Ex- The use of cell phones is not allowed in the race and sports book area. You just walk around the corner and use it there or all you really have to do is be out of view of the morons they have working at and mismanaging these places and you won't have any problem.

Good to see that the Gaughan Coast properties still have the adoration of the guys, even with Pittsburgh Jack, Art, and Jimmy long gone from there.

Best Book?..Gene Maday's Lil Caesar!..there's even a few pay phones right outside the sliding glass door..wink

as others have stated - las vegas sports books pretty much suck now. i was there last year at t-giving. i wanted to bet the 1st half of an nba game. i went to about 4-5 books - and NO ONE was booking 1st 1/2 nba lines. the guy at the stardust said to come back when football is done and they might. great - that really helped me out that day. also NOT ONE book has "mls" action, either.

if you don't mind betting a few dollars (and literally - a few dollars) on a game - vegas is ok. but if you wanna "step out" on a game - forget it! NOT worthe trouble and hassle you will experience.
