Well Kobe is innocent of course and I am sure that the information is valid on the site, but this site loads a few programs on your computer.

First of all, it changes your homepage to xupiter.com!! Well that in itself isnt that bad because it is easy to fix.

But then the damn site loads the xupiter toolbar on your computer and will of course track your site usuage better than Gil Grissom does on CSI! Took me a while to get rid of that damn program as well for some reason.

We all know that kobe is innocent, no need to click on the site.

This is a very god example of why everyone needs a firewall. My Zone Alarm would not allow this program to load...so no toolbar was created and no info. sent. No telling what info. was sent to this dude when his program *was* loaded on your computer.

It was a little bugger to rid of

Zone Alarms stopped it on my end, but the above is true and I advise running Ad-aware or any other spyware cleaning software to remove it.

Zone-Alarm worked for me too! Love that program, best 50 bucks I've spent. I got rid of my other firewall this one is much better. For those who aren't running a firewall I suggest you go to zonelabs.com and get a free 30 day trial on this one.

I went to the site, had zero problems. I have a pop-up blocker on my machine so possibly this stopped the problem, but i can't see anything wrong otherwise.

If you guys ever have problems on your computer, more than likely it will be caused by zone alarms. If you do , check out microsoft's site on how to deal with it.

Never had any problems with Zone Alarm on an XP machine, but I can't even run it on an old Windows 98 machine.

Agree that ZA is excellent.
