Why do people repeat threads??

Not being an asshole but jesus christ, how many threads can you have about the Rio situation?? Yes, it was a big deal but it would be a whole lot easier to read and keep up with if people didn't post repeat threads about the same thing over and over and over again. I had a hell oif a hard time keeping up with it because of 2 pages worth of threads lol Just 1 person's opinion

I wonder about this myself. I think sometimes people want to make sure their thoughts don't get lost in another thread so they start a new one. Only thing I can think of.....

good point Val...Maybe some feel there thread will get lost or the angle of that particular thread is not going the way they want it to...So they try another....
