Is it right for books to adjust your price just because they know what side you want

This reminds me of something a weak local was once accused of doing. When players would call in for the line he would ask who do you want. If you said Denver Broncos he would say -8, if you said Indianapolis he might say +6. Players didnt have a way to check current lines or money options to play elsewhere back in those days.

To me if a guy wants a side at +120 right now and he wants $40,000 on it he should get $40,000 to win $48,000. It isnt right of the book to make him put through $500 at a time so they know which side he is playing and can give him lower, dishonest odds. The line is +120 you should get +120 not +110 or +105. To me this is just another of the very many dishonest practices by the offshore books.

Lets say 2 guys are betting the same game but opposite sides and the line is -140 takeback +120. Each player wants a big stake and has to put through $500 at a time. By the time the full stakes are put through the guy who wants the favorite is playing it at -155 or -160, while the guy on the dog is getting +105 or +110. We all know books deal multiple lines.

Lets say a guy finds a line with small juice ( ex. -110 take back +105) and he pounds the -110 so hard that it goes up to -125 take back +115 the he starts pounding the +115. The book would scream bloody murder. They would call him a scammer, cheater, theif, dirtbag, money launderer, mobster, terrorist, etc. The book however is pulling a scam just the same when they change the odds solely because they know that is the side you like.

To me if it is now 5:38 EST and the line is +120 and I want $40,000 at 5:38 EST I should get all my play at +120. Just my opinion.

Some books do this all the time, its called profiling.

Books I have noticed who do it include bowmans, bet365, VIP, gameday, Players superbook, five card charlie, Millenium.

You have the right to shop for lines from several books. If your bookie shades a line on you every time you have the right to PLAY THE OTHER SIDE. We profile players, we have a line called "Dummy" because even when they know the line is against them they still play it. Most books call this line "public". If you don't like your bookie doing this, then play somewhere else. This is YOUR power over your bookie. In case you haven't noticed, it's a buyers market out there with literaly hundreds of books open forbusiness. If you are a credit player and can't just take your money somewhere else then that's the price ofplaying with money that isn't yours: you play by their rules.

Now grow a backbone and stop whining because you can't have everything exactly the way you like it.
