5team..I know its not the same thing but just in vegas for the RX bash and they do not offer halftime lines as they do not know what players are playing 2nd half...

I can't bash a book for not wanting to put up a halftime line on preseason NFL,but BoDog certainly does get it's share of (and more) complaints thrown their way.

The first couple I can write off as bashers, but the #'s tend to suggest a pattern.

I also know that they had a big advertising "issue" regarding a payment across the street, but I want to say that has since been paid (over a year late if it was).

I wouldn't put them in my top 20. Way too many other books with far fewer gripes against them.

Sweat the game, not the book.

I'm gonna get bashed from some of you for this... I will be called a "sell-out." But I don't care

I had a major problem with BoDog for what I believed was a slow-pay. This has been well chronicled here on TheRx.

I had a talk with Cole Turner (BoDog's CEO) while we were in Vegas. I now honestly believe my problem was due to a 3rd party money transfer agent. This was before BoDog used NETeller. Mr. Turner assured me I wouldn't have that sort or problem again.

I found BoDog's CEO truly concerned about my past problem, $omething that must be just a drop in the bucket to them, and willing to do what is needed to rectify our problem.

Before anyone 'smarts off' -- NO!! I have not been given anything from Bodog, in fact, I don't think I even have an active acct with them.

But, I will keep an eye on their lines and if I see something I like I will send them some more money, by NETeller this time

??? please explain, I have beeen with bodog for 7 years (I was with Big book, mayan, and grand prix too), and in that time I've seen A LOT of changes. I made my cowboy +3 bet elsewhere. I would assume many of our best cappers play halftime lines. I WAS QUOTING THEIR BROCHOURE, I GUESS A GAME PLAYED ON FOX ACCROSS THE WHOLE NATION IS NOT OF ANY CONCERN. They have made changes before as I know they were a 20 cent BB shop pre 2001, also any fav over about 220 was listed at a run line also.

OH OK PLAYERS BUT I GUESS QUARTER BETS ARE GOOD IN YOUR BOOK THOUGH (something bodog has also never offered). If you like a teams first string etc. their is much justification for first/second half betting especiallyin the pre. I really think BODOG may be just be lazy here, their software adjusts the lines and there is no reason not to have a halftime line a nationally televised game, none for MNF pre either. Maybe they think a sharpie will ghet them, then set a lower limit. NO BIGGIE, BUT THERE IS NO REASON FOR THEIR PLAYERS OF 7 years to go elsewhere.

BTW I PLAYED THE CHIFS IN HOF GAME 1st half cashed in everyone else was washed out, thank you very much players.

Well first of all, 60% of my bets are from playersonly.com. But for quarter bets, you cant do better than olympic. I dont see how they stay open by posting those 3rd and 4th quarter lines before the game starts. Now olympic does have small limits though. Denver for the 4th quarter is usually a great bet

It was sort of a joke, but the point was that it was a preseason game! No need to bet a preseason game at all, although I did take my favorite team last night, DALLAS for the game.
You had plenty of baseball games to bet though to worry too much about a football game in my view!

But yes, I have played at BODOG and have gotten paid every time within 12 hours using neteller. Always seems solid to me

Whats the real deal here? You jump at the bonus with your only available cash, then realize you don't like them?
Thats the only reason i can think of for you not just transferring out, since you are so unhappy.

Next time, you may want to take a look at what the book has to offer before posting up, instead of sending money, then bitching. Just a thought.

BUUTTER, i have been with them for 7 years (since mayan and grand prix), I have just 1 gripe. They advertise things in their brouchure that ARE NOT TRUE thats all. Besides that I trust them with my money more than any other book.
