I JUST TALKED TO STEVE/WSEX......

I just had a nice chat with Steve from WSEX. He wants to emphasize he is not trying to get out of paying some type of settlement on the bet. He said they made some mistakes by not having someone covering the office,line not moving 10 cents when each play for limit was made and system not locking it out.

Secondly they do not take much soccer action and the biggest bet was for $500 up until yesterday. This poster took advantage and tried to scam book but agin WSEX is not looking to get out of paying something reasonable to the player. Revere has not called Steve back to work something out.

WSEX is not shot takers and here is the reason/example. Last football season there was a wrong second half total and off by some points/bad line and they took 25 dimes in action on it. WSEX won the bet!!!! After the game they refunded money back to players.

WSEX is a proven honest book over the years and the question they have is should you pay a scammer all 40+ dimes or should there be some type of settlement????

Remember Boys WSEX is not trying to get out of this and not pay, Steve says he is willing to pay a reasonable/decent amount to the player.

simple question to wsex steve

In an earlier post you mentioned that you cancelled before the game yet the logs seem to show that the bets were cancelled after the event by hand one at a time?

What is the truth?
Did you make a mistake when you said you had cancelled before the game?

JJ, this case you site involves a wrong line. WSEX is not claiming a bad line in this case. The +120 was consistent with all the other lines out there.

I'm no schill for anyone, but I think the guy is damn lucky is Steve pays him anything over $600.
I mean the guy knew the software was trying to reject the wagers, so at 4AM he continues to put in bets to total $40,000!!!! How concerned was he about the bets going through? Why was his phone number wrong? 40 DIMES TWO HOURS--uhh just maybe it crossed his mind something was wrong?

Steve, It does no good to ask the skid row posters to call you. These are the same guys that rip sportsbooks for voiding bets that were placed long after the game has started. They criticize books for not honoring bets that were made on error lines like Nebraska +47 instead of Neb -47.
