I'm gonna get bashed from some of you for this... I will be called a "sell-out." But I don't care

I had a major problem with BoDog for what I believed was a slow-pay. This has been well chronicled here on TheRx.

I had a talk with Cole Turner (BoDog's CEO) while we were in Vegas. I now honestly believe my problem was due to a 3rd party money transfer agent. This was before BoDog used NETeller. Mr. Turner assured me I wouldn't have that sort or a problem again.

I found BoDog's CEO truly concerned about my past problem, $omething that must be just a drop in the bucket to them, and willing to do what is needed to rectify our problem.

Before anyone 'smarts off' -- NO!! I have not been given anything from Bodog, in fact, I don't think I even have an active acct with them.

But, I will keep an eye on their lines and if I see something I like I will send them some more money, by NETeller this time

All kidding aside, I have been monitoring their #'s for the past few days and have found some good RL prices. The 25% is very tempting too. And now with NT, I will most likely sign up before Monday.

I wouldnt characterize their numbers as unique by any stretch, but you will find something different here and there. Good Luck.

NETeller is one big reason I may give them a shot again.

Not wanting to be seen as blowing smoke but... I've been around the block in my life and have dealt with all sort of folks in the gambling world and under-world. You have to learn to 'read' people.

I read Cole Turner as being earnestly interested in making good on my past problem with them.

Frank - LMAO! Now you know how I felt. Even though at the time I was more critical of the RX for not answering than BoDog, I was upset we couldn't find out what was going on in that old player dispute. Once I got here and dug into it myself it was beyond clear to me what went on was not BoDog's fault. Like you I knew I would hear the "sell-out" jeers but I'm a little long in the tooth to let that stuff bother me. I was not going to bow to pressure and post things I did not believe to garner acceptance from others but I did see why some could think that. Still understand it. One week he is upset with BoDog and now he speaks highly of them? Makes sense but I can not allow it to influence what I post here, besides I need to supply material for the McIrish haters that are around.

Truth is these guys are my pick as one of the most underrated books there is. They have great bonuses and true dime line right now in bases. They also have other ideas and stuff coming down the chute I can't go into. They aren't sitting around and wondering what they will do if something happens to ways to get money to them, they are working on stuff that is close right now. When I researched that player dispute the main guy repeatedly told me "please don't take my word for it, here's how we can prove it." And on we went looking into it. I was a little pessismistic to be frank about it at first but the more I saw the more it was obvious they were entirely 100% right. After all the time we put in it stll the main guy over there gave me his cell phone number as he was leaving the country the next day in case there was a problem. Hard to knock the effort these guys are making and they have some big cash behind them right now. Anyone betting on the demise of the guys is uninformed, that's the only way to say it.

Doesn't make me real popular to some but I like this book and the way they handle themselves. Been wrong before but it will have to be proven to me.

Paddy,

I'm not putting Bodog in the top tier with Pinnacle, Oly and etc... nor do I think you are either. That would be absurd (we aint Sting) LOL

But I think they are worth taking another look at...

Fish - what are you doing up so late?

Frank - I was not making that case, LOL. Your complaint back then was the one I gave the most credence to. Others were led by people with possible agendas and nothing I looked into ever stood up. They even went back and cleared up the misunderstanding they had with MW. We all have opinions but to me they are an underrated book. If others see it differently it does not offend me in the least, just my input for whatever it's worth.

IF YOU LIKE BETTING DOGS THEY ARE A GREAT BOOK. There LINES move with the action big time especially right before gametime and the fav's usually get pounded so its a great place to bet on the underdogs.

Oh man...

Fatrank and Patrick,

You guys beat me to it. After having met with both Cole Turner and Rob Giliespi, I would clearly rate BODOG as the most UNDERRATED sports book that we have in our industry....

But not for long!

If anyone hasn't noticed, BODOG has gone from total obscurity to being noticed on virtually every possible advertising platform during the past 2 years...

I found COLE TURNER to be extremely sharp and I watched firsthand at how professionally he handled the incident with FAT FRANK...

These guys will be here at the very end and no sports book has improved as much as BODOG has over the past 2 years, period!

BoDog may be a great book, a mediocre book or a troubled book, but with all due respect Frank, your newfound opinion just isn't worth much considering your BoDog history.

It's really nice to see you've met a bunch of new friends and all but in the case of FatFrank v. BoDog you were either being disingenuous then or are being so now.

Ponzi Scheme has turned to Truly Concerned?

LMFAO!

I like you Frank but you're gonna have to cop to one of these three scenario's, (there are others but none that look any better for ya) so pick your poison:

1) I was an asshole about the whole BoDog thing. They booted me for scalping/middling/whatever, so I sought retribution in the forums. It was an immature way to react, especially the slow pay allegations which can harm a book and is a highly irresponsible thing to do.

or

2) They fuked me and it wasn't right what they did regarding my account but man I had fun at that party. Cole Turner and I drank from dusk 'till dawn and man the dude is alright. In fact, I consider him a friend now and thus can forgive him for past transgressions.

or

3) BoDog still sucks as a book as far as I'm concerned but Ken has asked that I lighten up on these guys since they sponsored the LV get together, which was a great time for everybody. I met Ken and he is a decent guy so I am obliging him his request.

Not an option:

"It was just a third party payment snafu. I see that now.."

Do you really expect anyone to buy that line?

Are you a Pothead Fokker???

It's really a disservice to the industry as a whole and to the players that really DO run into legitimate issues when this type of disingenuous shit occurs.

"Ponzi Scheme", "Truly Concerned"

Get Real.
