In fact, I would be willing to bet anyone here at least 100k that RIO and their family of sports books will be around after the football season, just as they always are...

The rumor going around about RIO is complete bullshit and there is NO GAMBLER that I am aware of who has complained about being even slow paid...

Not fair to pick on a sports book just because they don't advertise with you!

As posted in a different thread, this rumour is completely unfounded. No, Rio and Skybook are NOT in any financial problems whatsoever.

They have some very sharp people running the shop. They aren't going anywhere, anytime soon. You can bet on that.

Their only problems would be that harld anyone played with them during the baseball season because of the 15 cent lines, but with football around the corner, then that will change again

RPM: yes it is. I'd bet big bucks RIO is not who they're talking about. Neither CRIS, nor BCBets, nor Hollywood, nor Cascade and definitely not Grande.

Without the facts confirmed, why throw this out into the public? It just makes people guess and get nervious.

With Grande now running BCBets, I wouldn't worry about getting paid....

Regarding Rio\Sky, why did SBR quietly yank both of them last week? Something is obviously up....but no one seems to say exactly what.

You shouldn't doubt Shrink's word, because he spends a lot of time making sure that the players here are always steered towards the reputable and honest sportsbooks.

The simple fact that he will bet $100k of his own money that Rio will be around at the end of football season should stop all rumors of Rio being in trouble.
