Try to figure out a way to protect smaller bettors from getting screwed by your advertisers.

Honestly, how tough a thing would it be to figure out a way to do what MW used to do and guarantee funds on deposit upto a nickle.

It will cover folks that this industry desparately needs to have, and pros, should have a bad debt expense like any other businesses do anyway.

Thanks.

I like Russ's idea.....this would be in everyone's best interest.

"Ken, I have a great idea. Take the $100,000 and guarantee your readers and mine that you will pay their money if it is not there at superbowl 2004. You do that publicly and I will support you. I think that is a hell of an idea. Let me know. It would solve all the problems in my mind.

Russ"

And what will slandered books be paid?

I'd bet my lifesavings of $36.42 that Russy poo would have NEVER said Rio was in trouble if they were an advertiser.

Not like there's enough other speculation going around,

now we're going to guess at what ifs?

TT, pretty funny but I had not seen Russ' post prior to posting, I agree that is another great idea!

Why is it that Majorwager has never given a warning about one of the number of books that have gone down and been advertisers at their site? That is my question, do you mean to tell me that Russ knows more about books that he doesn't have a relationship with? Something smells fishy to me.

Yea good point a reputable poster posts two books in CR in trouble,

now we should speculate on Russ?

Good one, is Mr Rogers around, or is it Sesame Street time?

Are you talking about Russ saying Rio & Sky were in trouble?
or are we only bashing "reputable" RX posters right now?

Which reputable poster did I bash?

I posted an idea who's time has come and past,

and you chose to take the thread a different direction.

Later days, I see Big Bird and Cookie Monster on the way.

maybe you can ask them if the RXhas ever paid anyone that got stiffed by one of their advertisers, I can say with 100% certainty MW has, regardless of the pollution you seem to want to bring to the table.

I think SP's post on this is very valuable and should be considered. Moreover, TT's quote from across the street serves to bolster this suggestion.

Unfortunately, cogent ideas such as these will never be considered because so much that goes on in these forums revlolves around the 'my dick is bigger than yours' notion.

I've had it up to here with this "way to protect smaller bettors" crap. When did people who bet larger sums stop counting in the equation?

Also, while I didn't like that particular phrase, the spirit of the post was excellent.

Well Neil you see getting stiffed is part of any business,

betting larger sums=buiness

betting smaller amounts=betting as a hobby or for fun

smaller bettors typically lose, hence funds to pay big bettors.

smaller bettors typically don't come back when they get stiffed.

You figure out a way to replenish the woods from all the trees you guys take out, this is mine.

It was my understand that Russ is not guaranting the posters funds with his advertisers using his very own wallet.
Correct if I'm wrong

Lander a word of advice,
it would be prudent for you to disconnect your lips from Ken's ass.

you're just going to have to trust me on this one.

Good point.

Perhaps I would be better served showing my affection for a particular watchdog owner if I say .. went all over the internet defending him on other forums

I'm a shill for RUss?

Are you for real, I posted a couple of times saying I wouldn't use securebuxx in a million years.

Remember my warning. Unlock your lips, you're going to look very foolish otherwise.

Sorry, No.
Was it before they were known stiffs? Or was after they were schilled by Russ, but not yet known as known stiffs? Or even before that when Russ was extorting PCI? Or after today when he was slandering Rio?

I get my Russ scam timeline all jumbled up. Please understand.
