I don't *&$% up very often putting in bets but I did last night. I mean I've only done this a couple times ever and the books let me cancel the bet. Gamblers Avenue will not.

I meant to bet on the Pittsburgh game last night and accidentally bet on Philadelphia instead -3 -115 for tonight.

I e-mailed GA straight away. No answer yet so I called them. I was told their internet rules are very clear and you have to confirm each bet so we can't cancel your bet. The spread has not moved since my bet either. Seems like a real tough line to take to me.

Well it seems as though you would have taken Pittsburgh and would have lost that bet, would not complain if I were you.

Not too many people mistake Dallas with Philadelphia, MAYBE Pitt and Philly though

yes, would have lost. so if I lose this bet tonight I'm not going to jump up and down and scream at GA.

my point is, even by confirming a bet on the screen, players ARE going to make a mistake every now and then. holding them to it does not seem customer friendly. I'm not upset, but this may be an area GA may want to look twice at their policy.

Smith,
Maybe the internet is too hard for you?
Perhaps you should call your action in.

You do get a confirm screen where you should review your bets before clicking confirm.

That said, some books will let it slide. Some books use their discretion. Many will tell you to bet the other side and pay the juice.

Bottom line, it's your money, review your bets before confirming.
