The ATP website now has the US open first round draw up. I suggest you spend five minutes studying this.

Note the little numbers by some players names. For example, Agassi has a little "1". This means he is number 1 seed.

To make it even easier seeds are all in bold print in the draw. Hopefully your powers of deduction enable you to realise that players not in bold ink are not seeded.

This means that if you set a prop at, say 33 to 1, that an unseeded player makes the final, punters will expect you to pay up at 33 to 1.

Yes I am sorry to say this will include all the players whose names are not in bold - that's 96 of them in all.

It may seem unfair to you to have 96 guys playing for the punters and only 32 playing for you, but that's life I am afraid.

Still you will have 2 things to console yourself with:

1. The best 32 players are playing for you.

2. If by any chance one of those 96 rotters makes the final, just rip up all those annoying winning bet slips and pretend the whole thing never happened.

See you in Chapter 11 guys!!!

That was VERY funny pesky - good stuff - but you probably don't realize this great advice will go unused for one basic reason: that tennis guru doesn't know what 'bold' means. A simple illustration should clear that up chop-chop:

1 - Andre Agassi Note to SIA hammerhead: the name to the immediate left, which is Andre Agassi, is in bold, whereas this sentence you're reading that begins with 'Note to SIA hammerhead' is NOT in bold.

Now, one is obviously hoping the hammerhead can read. Also one hopes he knows what 'left' means

An unseeded player has never made a US Open final, line should be 100-1.
