The departure of Ken today has created torrential storms in Las Vegas and rescue helicopters are saving stranded motorists from severe flooding. I am watching these rescues on tv and to say that conditions are dangerous is an extreme understatement of the situation. Mayor Oscar has just declared a state of emergency as there is as much as six feet of water on certain streets. These tethered rescue workers are unbelievable and are so adept and fearless in their maneuverings as they are saving these people.
