how i spent my 21st birthday- on a train during a blackout

what a birtday stuck in the train for 2 hours
then these assholeslet all the women off the train first like its ****ing pirate ship
i can see babies and the elderly but women- thats crap
i almost got a ticket for cursing out a cop telling him what a load of shit this was
then these idiots have us walkng on the catwalk becasue we cant go on the tracks incase a train comes
so i yell why the **** not how many trains run on duracell batteries?
and the guy was like oh ok i guess you could

so finally i get out
funny thing is all the ralings are on theleft so everyones left arms and hands are filthy
ofcourse its hot as hell in the subway so eveyone is rubbing sweat off of their faces
the only thing is im left handed so i covered my face with black shit

funny thing is i was really the only perosn with dirt on their face and i dint realize it for about 40 blocks on my 96 block walk
and at first i thought just the mta power was out im thinking wow im catching all the lights
what a nice 21st birthday present a blackout
i think the only worse place i couldve b een would be in an elevator
i wish i was in a bank a casino or an electronic store
i also think the omish people and people who didnt pay their electric bills and were getting shut off anyway must have found this hilarious

Thats sucks buddy. I got my electricity back on Friday morning at around 630a. But, my flight to LV was cancelled , I didnt have running water, cable tv, or internet until late Friday night.

This past weekend was a huge inconvenience. It was actually surreal if you really think about it. Glad you made it out safe. It could have been worse. As for the casino, well...lights went out in AC for a short while as well.
