THE GAY 'DELUGE'SION

Since the last half of June, Canadian provinces have legalized homosexual marriages, the US Supreme Court has overturned Texas’ anti-sodomy laws and the Episcopalian Church has embraced an openly homosexual bishop. Western Society is being deluged with the whole gay issue, to the point that many will simply become dangerously immune to the subject.

The media has flooded its audience with "homosexuality lite" for years. Movies and television have consistently and increasingly portrayed homosexuality in a positive light, and the news constantly presents homosexual issues favorably. There is a concerted effort to make homosexuality look normal and non-threatening. Everybody has heard of Matthew Shepard, a gay college student who was beaten to death in 1998 - but few have heard of Jeffrey Curley, a 10 year old boy murdered by two gay men after rejecting their sexual advances. So, Western society has grown increasingly comfortable with homosexuality and willing to accept it as just another sexual union, even to the point of legalizing same sex marriages and offering homosexuals places of high spiritual leadership.

Amid the cries of "equal rights" and "tolerance" and "diversity", few seem to recognize that the homosexual lifestyle is a dangerous one. According to the American Medical Association, 70% of new HIV infections are occurring among men, of which 60% are in gay and bisexual men. This is an incredibly high statistic considering that only 2-5% of the population is homosexual. The life expectancy for gay men is about 20 years shorter than for married heterosexual men. Homosexual relationships tend to be short lasting and homosexuals tend to have multiple partners in a year. Those involved in homosexual activity are at a high risk for a multitude of sexually-transmitted diseases, as well as cervical or rectal cancer. Substance abuse and domestic violence are also recognized problems among homosexuals.

Both the public in general and homosexuals in particular are constantly told that gay people are "born that way" and discouraged from the idea that sexual orientation can be reversed. Despite this insistence, homosexuals can and have changed. Thousands can testify to the power and love of God in their lives, which has enabled them to leave their gay/lesbian life-styles, and which has healed their relationships, their marriages, their sexual identities and the underlying issues in their lives that caused the homosexual feelings and thoughts in the first place.

While homosexual activist groups cry "hate" every time somebody disagrees with their agenda and claims, true love would desire to free homosexuals rather than allow them to self-destruct.

We have included the links below to give you more information on homosexuality, its causes and roots, and the means by which men and women can escape its bondage.

Grantt,

And we've assigned Railbird to be your sexual advisor. Between the two of them you should turn out just fine.

Lol, Max - Grantt, you made 3 basic mistakes:

1 - to learn requires a mind capable of learning - based on your political postings, you already know everything, which means it is impossible for you to learn anything

2 - oddly, logic demands that number 1 must be false because you say that you haven't learned anything, but of course you had to learn that

3 - that the vast majority of the forum users would give a tinker's damn whether you EVER learn anything here (same as for anyone else)

There - you've now learned another thing, what my opinion is - no charge this morning, I'm in a charitable mood.

Note to self. Don't start thread like this again. It brings out the nutbars.

Railbird,

Your homophobia is reaching new heights. This post is totally unrelated but you couldn't resist blurting something out.

This is funny....
"Thousands can testify to the power and love of God in their lives, which has enabled them to leave their gay/lesbian life-styles, and which has healed their relationships, their marriages, their sexual identities and the underlying issues in their lives that caused the homosexual feelings and thoughts in the first place."

The mind is a powerful thing, lots of religious nuts have believed they had been cured of cancer and other aliments by the power of God, abandoned treatment and then dropped dead six months later too.

You know what they say about homophobs and latent tendencies, perhaps if you were more secure in your own sexuality the gay issue wouldn't scare you so much. Maybe you should spend some of your time in counseling and less time ranting on this issue here.

"There - you've now learned another thing, what my opinion is - no charge this morning, I'm in a charitable mood."

Lol, good one Jazz.

I don't often agree with Railbird but there is some truth in what he says here. There seems to be an anti-Hetero bent in the movies and TV. Non-gay men are usually portrayed as some neanderthal while gays are portrayed as a persecuted minority which they are definitely not.
Also, what does the Episcopal Church have left to stand for? If they tolerate and endorse everything aren't they merely a place to go on Sunday morning and take people's money?

Just because Fascist George calls somebody a sinner doesn't make them a persecuted minority.
Rove must have taken that day off and W had to think for himself and failed to euphemize his slurs.

I'm just saying that I would feel pretty unwelcome if the leader of my nation said my sexuality meant I was a sinner.

I also don't think that we can deny that gay bashing goes on, and there are clearly a lot of people prejudiced against gays or it wouldn't be an issue. Another point would be that by not allowing gay marriage that means no joint tax returns for those couples, personaly I see that as economic persecution.

Rail loves god(fictitious character) because he loves everyone and forgives everyone regardless of what they've done, but god doesn't like homo's because those guys are a bunch of fags. Everyone else is okay murderers, child molesters, rapists, pedophiles etc. This god almost sounds too good to be true. If he could only win ball games and academy awards I think I would get aboard. What he won last years superbowl? I'm in. I like I guy that allows war and children to get killed but comes through on the really important things like the outcome of football games. Is the game considered fixed when the big guy is on your side?

Actually, number 2 is a false assertion. Learning on the RX is SOME of all possible learning (ie a subset). It would be possible to know everything political, but have not learned anything on the RX (you'd have learned it all elsewhere

I think the general content of most of the replies says it all.

you can learn useful stuff about betting here, but first you have to wade through a lot of stuff written by the under 5s and deranged.

Sharp Sports Betting is a site you will learn more useful stuff on without the imbeciles getting in your way too much.

This site is OK provided you can wade through all the stupid stuff.
